The name of the magazine comes indirectly from a work by Kurt Schwitters; A Small House for seamen. I have been told that it was one Agnes Weston who founded the seamen's homes in this country and I hope this magazine will likewise provide some sort of refuge.
The 1979 edition of this small, paper-bound magazine includes black-and-white reproductions of Richard Long’s earthworks in the striking landscapes of England, Wales and Malawi, as well as a circular arrangement of words and poetic phrases chosen by Long to describe a two and a half day walk through the Scottish Highlands.
