"The work presented in this exhibition crosses the frontier between two quite clearly defined fields of creative activity- poetry and painting.  There may be no single accurate definition of this hybrid form of expression- one thing is quite clear, nevertheless- visual poetry in its various forms constitues the first international poetry movement."
