Werner Bischof: Pictures offers an overview of the work of one of the twentieth century's most creative and prolific photographers. Bischof (1916-1954) is known as a master of black-and-white.
During the 1930's in Zurich Bischof adopted the "Neues Sehen" (New Vision) Bauhaus ideology. At the end of the Second World War, Bischof focused on documenting the destruction of Europe and the first efforts at rebuilding.
