Monuments for V. Tatlin from Dan Flavin, 1964-1982 was published on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name at MOCA Los Angeles April 21 - June 17, 1984 and traveled to Washington D.C., Bordeaux, and Otterlo.

Originally created between 1964-1982, Flavin dedicated these sculptures to the Russian Constructivist, Vladimir Tatlin.  Instead of assembling existing works from collections around the world, the artist made new "monuments," not only allowing for works in the best possible condition, but also for the construction of pieces as yet realized.
