This limited edition print was created for LACMA by artist Lawrence Weiner on the occasion of LACMA's Annual Collectors Committee Weekend in 2013. Often associated with his founding role in the Conceptual art movement of the 1960s, Weiner's text-based works explore language and typography in their simplest form.
Each year, a distinguished group of donors contributes directly to the enrichment of LACMA’s permanent collection through participation in the Collectors Committee. All membership money from this group goes directly to a pooled fund that gives Collectors Committee members the privilege of helping make acquisitions for the museum.
